We are always looking for new members of either sex. Initially we would explain to you the benefits, time and financial commitments of being a member. We would establish the type of club activities in which you would feel comfortable. You would then be invited to 3 club meetings and 2 service or fund raising meetings. You would also be given the minutes of a previous monthly business meeting. By this time you would have had ample opportunity to meet other members and have a greater understanding of what we aim to do.
Badging Up
Actual membership is confirmed by a "badging-up" ceremony at a monthly business meeting. You will be asked to understand and agree to the Lions Clubs International Objectsand Code of Ethics.
After joining you are encouraged to attend the monthly business meeting and participate in one of the sub-committees dealing either with fund raising or community services.
